I am sure most of us have been working from home for several weeks, or teleworking as we call it in our office. I like the term teleworking, as this implies I don't need to be at home. As mentioned before, one of the concepts I like about note investing is that I can handle all the tasks anywhere in the world, provided I have access to the internet. While the majority of my day is spent attending to the issues of my day job, there are times I can attend to the issues with my note investing. You might note (excuse the pun) that I am writing this early on a Saturday morning.
For years I did work out of my house and I like the efficiency I can attain. Even though I now manage a group, that group is quite self-sufficient. They've adapted to teleworking without a skip in their routine. We just needed to refine some of the processes of working from a remote location.
Part of the greater challenges in working from home, or perhaps any endeavor where you have some free time, is maintaining a positive thought life. What goes on in your head, especially when you are by yourself, can lead to some unintended conclusions. I found something from T. Harv Eker that I think is good to share as we are yet to transition back to some form of normal.

This stands for Thoughts to Feelings to Actions to Results. You see, everything starts with your thoughts. The house you are sitting in was someone's thought before they started construction. The device you are reading this from was someone's thought before assembly. You remember the adage: "Begin with the End in Mind"? Those thoughts move you to a feeling. Now, I am not much on feelings. I'm often a bit too practical, but I admit that the feeling stage is necessary to motivate me to take action. If I don't feel motivated, I'm not going to take action. Then, only by taking action can one achieve results. And remember, results are the name of the game. Here is a link to a short video from one of my mentors, Jim Rohn, on results:

Investing in notes follows the same path. It doesn't matter if you invest actively, as I do, or passively, as an investor might. It starts with the first thought, which could be a simple as curiosity about notes themselves. That generates a feeling, which should motivate you to look a little closer, like making a phone call to someone you know that invests in notes. That means you've taken action on the path to results. This is a basic formula for all endeavors.
So, rather than binge some thoughtless streaming program (they are called programs for a reason) that won't move you to a positive results, by controlling your thoughts and following this path will lead you to a better level than when this Stay Home order was issued. You owe yourself that outcome.
Thanks for reading. I hope you think about this and that it creates a feeling inside of you to take action to achieve results. Don't let this time slip away with little to show from it.
