A lot of professionals and sellers can be hard to reach, but if you have the right connections there may be appealing terms and discounts for acquiring notes and real estate investments.
Maximizing Year End Tax Breaks
This is even more important this year than ever. The dramatic new tax plan threatens to sweep away many common tax breaks and deductions. Those who don’t make adjustments now may be shocked by substantially higher tax bills in the new year. Some may even want to restructure their own residences, and opt-for slightly smaller and more affordable spaces that allow them property tax and mortgage interest deductions under the new lower limits. Any excess funds can be used to invest. The one safe haven left appears to be self-directed IRA and 401k plans.
